Sainsbury’s is recalling a batch of its Sliced Beetroot sold in jars because the product may contain small pieces of glass. The presence of glass makes this product unsafe to eat and presents a safety risk.

Action taken by the company
Sainsbury’s is recalling the above product. Point-of-sale notices will be displayed in all retail stores that are selling this product. The notice explains to customers why the product is being recalled and tells them what to do if they have bought it.
